Fall tour prep training

My training, usually pretty good, is up. I'm almost always sore, sleeping like a (very uncomfortably hot) log, and evidently rather dehydrated (proved by unquenchable thirst and my first calf cramp in my sleep in over a year). I'm training like a fiend, or at least like how I figure a fiend would train, because of the upcoming fall tour, the Knoxville, TN, stop in particular.

I'm trying to take some solace in knowing that other Yin Style practitioners throughout the U.S. are putting in extra time and effort where they can find it to get ready for a YSB fall tour that will hopefully be rather epic, a symbol of YSB International's continued growth and the spread of this incredible martial art.

My extra-long training sessions aren't all of the hard work going into this effort. Coordinating, scheduling, and planning such an event is a bit of a chore. We really want to make an even better showing for He Jinbao this year in Knoxville, and so we're trying to find an improved location, hunt down and invite new interest, and raise the quality of our group, most of whom are very new members, in preparation. Again, it's nice to know these kinds of efforts are being replicated around the country by other study groups that are trying to make it great this fall.

If you happen across this and think you want to come and check out the phenomenon that Yin Style Baguazhang is becoming in the U.S., don't miss the lists:
For just a bit more information about the fall tour stops this year, see this blog's previous post, which is on that very topic.
